So, the film was good imo. Heres the DVD

I think there must be 2 Hitchhiker's films in circulation.

I think some people are overly critical with book conversions. To me it had the essence of the characters and the story right and thats the main thing smile.gif

Remember that Doug himself didnt stick to the same story though each iteration of H2G2

The radio series is different to the books, thats different to the TV series, and Doug himself was the guy who decided it needed 'Hollywooding' up in order to appeal to a film going audience
